“I love seeing the difference in the quality of life of my patients. The most rewarding part of my job are the ‘thank yous’ from patients and family members.” Dr. Anas Alsadi changes the lives of patients suffering from respiratory illnesses such as COPD, asthma, and lung cancer.
Day by day, Dr. Alsadi meets with patients at the Hancock Health pulmonary critical care clinic and Hancock Regional Hospital to form treatment plans. His philosophy of care is to always treat patients with the highest level of compassion and respect.
Dr. Alsadi recognized the need for additional pulmonology services at Hancock Health, which is why he chose to practice here. His presence gives Hancock Health patients access to further levels of expertise and personalized care in pulmonology.
The most frustrating part of his job are the economic barriers to providing care for those who are the most in need. “It’s beyond doctors’ control, but we want to be able to help,” said Dr. Alsadi. He believes that the availability of new biologic agents to treat asthma is an incredible innovation in the field in pulmonology. “It’s brought a new life for patients with severe asthma,” he said.
